In order to enhance transparency and promote a culture of information, Inversiones MITTA SpA and its subsidiaries Autorentas del Pacífico SpA, Leasing del Pacífico SpA, and Comercializadora Don Carlos SpA (hereinafter MITTA) have made available to employees and third parties a reporting channel accessible through the website and corporate intranet. Through this channel, you can report any irregularity or breach (communication or report) of both external and internal regulations related to the MITTA Group's companies, their professionals, or their activities. The user of this channel agrees to use this tool appropriately and, by way of example but not limited to, not to use it to (i) spread false information or information obtained through illicit, illegal activities or actions contrary to good faith; (ii) cause damage to MITTA's physical and logical systems, its suppliers, or third parties, introduce or spread computer viruses or any other physical or logical systems that could cause the aforementioned damage.
How to File a Complaint or Make a Communication?
- • The preferred way to submit a complaint is through the reporting channel you are accessing, which is integrated into the protocol established in the crime prevention model, whose responsible party is MITTA's Crime Prevention Officer. Fill in the details of the form.
- • If you provide an email address, in case of a non-anonymous report, it will be used to confirm the receipt of the report and/or any other necessary communication. There is also a field where you can indicate another preferred way to be contacted if needed.
- • All communications will be handled diligently, with confidentiality, privacy, and security.
What Content Should the Report Include?
In any case, especially if the reports are anonymous, it is crucial to include:
- • A clear and detailed description of the facts.
- • Identification of the Company or Business Unit and the location where the incident took place.
- • Identification of the individuals involved in the reported behavior or who have knowledge of it.
- • The time the incident occurred or has been occurring.
- • If possible, an assessment of the impact of the reported incident.
- • Provide, if deemed necessary, documents, files, or other information relevant for the evaluation and resolution of the reports.
What is the Process for Receiving and Handling Complaints?
Complaints submitted through this channel will be treated with complete confidentiality, and anonymity will be respected if applicable. They are received by the Ethics Committee and the Crime Prevention Officer of MITTA. Depending on the irregularity, the professionals, or the company involved, the management of the report will be coordinated with the compliance officer, and if necessary, with internal or external expert areas. To promote a culture of information, your collaboration in communicating any irregularity or breach you are aware of is essential. The usefulness and functionality of this channel depend on everyone.
