Ignacio Correa, General Manager of MITTA, explains how the company is projected today, which has already been in the mobility market for more than 55 years.

The concept that MITTA is currently coining is “Mobility as a Service”, which seeks to generate mobility platforms in transfers, new technologies and alliances. It is through this business focus that the new brand of the company Autorentas del Pacífico and its partner Mitsui & CO. They aim to expand operations and business alternatives: “We are thus reinforcing our strategy to continue being the industry leaders, expanding our operation and opening new business opportunities in the region. We will incorporate more services to clients, such as Flexible Leasing for individuals and companies, new alliances in mobility services, greater efficiency in car rental, and increase and renewal of our fleet of vehicles. For this we will invest about US $ 100 million during 2019 ”; assures Ignacio Correa, General Manager of MITTA.

In January of the 2018, the Japanese company acquired the 49% of the shares of Autorentas del Pacífico and its main reason was the interest to participate in the business with direct contact with customers, promote the trend of moving from property to use and turn MITTA into a pioneering services company in the MAAS (Movility as a Service).
