Intercity TAG

Some highway concessions implemented the Interurban TAG System. This Electronic Collection System allows the use of a TAG enabled in all the toll plazas of the concessions, in order to make the trip faster, more comfortable and safer.

As of June 11, 2018, the collection of the Interurban TAG (toll) came into effect once the lease is finalized and up to 60 days after it. If the toll in question was paid by the user of the vehicle, you must present the corresponding ticket to be discounted.

FREQUENT QUESTIONS

1.- What is understood by interurban TAG and which are the highways that currently consider this charge?
It refers to all the tolls outside the city that are on the roads. This Electronic Collection System allows the use of a TAG enabled, in all the Toll Plazas of the concessions
Pacific Route, Los Libertadores Highway, Maipo Route and Costa Arauco Route, in order to make the trip faster, more comfortable and safer

2.- Is this collection an initiative of Autorentas del Pacífico (MITTA)?
DO NOT. Some motorway concessions implemented the Interurban TAG System.

3.- ¿ Highways is the same as Roads?
For these purposes NO. To differentiate them we will call Autopistas to those fast urban roads that communicate us between the communes within the city and Cyou stop to interurban highways that are outside the city.

4.- Does the Televía collection system that Autorentas (MITTA) currently have includes the tolls for these interurban highways and will it replace the current Televía (TAG) collection?
It does not include it, this new charge only applies to road toll, for now the rest will remain the same. We will implement the collection of this amount once the lease is completed and may take up to 60 days.

5.- What do I do if I paid the toll?
If you paid your toll, you must present the ticket in counter once the lease is finished, who will validate it and discount the road payment.
